Joe Colonnetta is a Dallas-based investor and operator with over 30 years of private equity experience, currently serving as the General Partner of HBC Investments. Throughout his career, which includes a tenure as partner at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, he has managed over $2.5 billion in investments across multiple global markets. Beyond his private sector work, he has held significant public appointments, including serving as Chairman of the Investment Committee for the $200 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Texas and as a Trustee for the Texas Prepaid College Tuition Plans.
Currently the Lead Director for Aris Water Solutions (NYSE: ARIS), he continues to oversee various public and private interests across the energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors.
